The Minneapolis - Saint Paul ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter (MN SIGGRAPH) has been in existence in a number of forms for over fifteen years. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the genearation and dissemination of information on computer graphics and interactive techniques. One of our primary purposes is to promote and foster the growth of computer graphics and animation in the Minneapolis / Saint Paul area. We are a membership organization that values passion, integrity, excellence, volunteerism, and cross-disciplinary interaction in all of our activities.
Most of you are probably familiar with the international conference known simply as SIGGRAPH. Others may have attended our local event, the Minnesota Electronic Theater (MET), which has been held annually since 1989. Thoughtout the year, we also hold meetings and events at various locations thoughout the Minneapolis / Saint Paul metro area. Join us as we tour local animation studios, connect with peers in the industry, and discuss issues and techniques in the field of computer graphics. Join the mailing lists to stay informed of upcoming events, and get involved with your local chapter of SIGGRAPH!
